Decca - Janine Jansen
We undertook a website redesign for Janine Jansen, a young Dutch classical violin concert and recording artist. The site includes audio, video and photos in flash format, and guestbook functionality.
While respecting the classical idiom, we have incorporated a modern look into the site, so it can appeal to a younger audience. We used strong imagery as the site’s focal point, pushed Janine’s latest release to the homepage, and kept everything clean, uncluttered and easily navigable.
There is a sense of community and interaction on the site, with a moderated guestbook that gives users the feeling they are closer to the artist and are able to communicate with her directly.
